The Soundstream TWT.5 is a 1″ PEI dome tweeter designed for car audio applications. This is designed to enhance the high-frequency sound reproduction in car audio systems. Its power handling, dome material, and mounting options make it suitable for delivering clear and accurate high-frequency response, providing improved audio quality and detail.

The TWT.5 tweeter can be mounted in two ways: surface mounting or angled mounting. Surface mounting refers to attaching the tweeter directly to the surface of a flat panel, while angled mounting involves mounting the tweeter at an angle to optimize sound dispersion. This is made of PEI (Polyetherimide). PEI is a lightweight and rigid material that is commonly used in tweeter construction. It helps to reproduce high-frequency sounds accurately.

The tweeter comes with a crossover. A crossover is a device that separates the audio signal into different frequency ranges and directs them to the appropriate speaker drivers. In this case, the crossover ensures that the tweeter receives only the high-frequency signals it is designed to reproduce, protecting it from potentially damaging low-frequency signals.
