Tarantula T5 Series Subwoofer

A new and improved version of one of Soundstream’s renowned subwoofer series, the Tarantula T5, the Soundstream T5.124 is designed to give you the monstrous bass output that the brand is famous for while having an affordable price point, so you won’t have to break the bank.

Spruce Pulp Cone and Polyether Foam Surround

This 12-inch subwoofer uses a Spruce pulp cone and polyether foam surround that are stitched and glued to each other, ensuring that you get the powerful and accurate low-frequency performance that Tarantula T5 subwoofers are known for while still having the durability that is needed to withstand the stress that comes from long hours of use at high volume levels.

3″ Voice Coil

Soundstream T5.124 comes with a massive 3-inch voice coil for better power handling, and it has a die-cast aluminum frame which is designed for stability and better airflow so that thermal issues won’t be a problem with this subwoofer. The adhesives used in gluing the surround and cone are also resistant to high temperatures, so they won’t break off easily.

Power Handling

The Soundstream T5.124 can handle an impressive power output of 1,000 Watts RMS and can go up to 2,000 Watts of peak power at 4 ohms. It has a frequency response of 30 up to 300 Hz and a sensitivity rate of 86 dB, which means that it can give you a deep and extensive low-frequency performance while having the capacity to go loud with minimal distortion.
