The Pioneer VREC-Z710DH is a high-tech 2-channel dash camera system with front and rear Full HD 1080p cameras. The front camera has a wide 160 viewing angle, while the rear camera with HDR technology has a 137 diagonal viewing angle. Both cameras use STARVIS sensor for clear and colorful videos, capturing important details like license plates. Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) improves low light imagery, and Rear Proximity Monitoring (RPM) records nearby vehicles.

Parking Mode and Security Mode capture events when parked for front and rear protection. The 3-axis G-Force sensor records before and after incidents, also triggering Sudden Brake Detection. The front camera has a 2″ LCD, GPS, and Wi-Fi for app access to videos, manual recordings, and settings.

Vigilance Beyond the Rearview Mirror

Rear Proximity Monitoring watches for tailgating and fast-approaching cars. When you go over 25 mph, the rear camera spots vehicles coming up in your lane. If one gets too close for about 5 seconds, RPM turns on, recording 20 seconds before and after. The video is saved in the “Event” folder.

When brakes are abruptly used, the VREC-Z710DH’s Sudden Brake Detection turns on, recording and saving 20 seconds before and after the incident in the Event Folder. The main/front camera has a 160 diagonal view, and the second/rear camera has a 137 diagonal view for full road coverage.
