Perkins Prima M50 Alternator

Description

High quality aftermarket alternator for Perkins Prima M50 12V, for marine versions of these engines set up for a ‘three lug’ mounted alternator.

We stock earth return and insulated earth versions.

• Earth Return (Grounded) high output 65/70 amp alternator, requires the engine to be earthed. Electrical output connections are for battery (+), alternator warning lamp and an AC terminal for a tachometer. Manufactured by Prestolite Electric, USA based and a world leader in automotive charging systems

• Insulated earth high output 90 Amp alternator requires a separate earth connection. Electrical output connections are for battery (+) and earth (-), alternator warning lamp and an AC terminal for a tachometer. Manufactured by a Bosch group company or Prestolite.

– 12V 65A With Pulley, Right Hand is supplied with cooling fan and pulley for Belt Width 7/16″ Inch (12 mm)
– 12V 90A With Pulley, Right Hand is supplied with pulley for 13 mm (1/2″ inch) belt

We also include with the kit a packet of the correct electrical spade connectors and also a wiring diagram to help with fitting. These alternators come with a standard 12 month warranty.
