Perkins 4.248 Series Starter Motor

Description

High quality aftermarket 12V earth return starter motors for Perkins 4.248. Fit all versions (including marine) of these engines set up for a ‘three lug’ mounted starter.
These starters are supplied by an official aftermarket manufacturer Prestolite, USA based and a world leader in automotive charging systems.

– OPTION 1. (check images) 12V 1.8kW for engine code LG – 4.2482 with the Nose Housing opening on the LEFT hand – mounting position: 45, mounting type: SAE1, pinion: 10 teeth, Pinion Outside Diameter: 39.4 mm

– OPTION 2. (check images) 12V 2.8kW for engine code LF – 4.248 with the Nose Housing opening on the RIGHT hand – mounting position: 40, mounting type: SAE1, pinion: 10 teeth, Pinion Outside Diameter: 39.5 mm.
