Power Reference product line

Memphis Audio products have always been known for having exceptional quality at an affordable price, and in its Power Reference product line, the 12-inch PRX 1224 subwoofer is not an exception to that billing. The subwoofer has a polypropylene cone and butyl rubber surround, giving it an accurate bass response with minimal distortion and the necessary durability to perform at extended periods with high volume levels.

Very Efficient Thermal Management System

Like all Power Reference subwoofers, the PRX1224 has a shallow mount design with a mounting depth of 3 inches, allowing you to install it easily, even with limited space inside the vehicle, and without affecting the bass quality. Its FLEX technology lets you choose between two impedances without any drop-offs in audio quality and power output.

Using Memphis Audio’s DVVC Direct Voice Coil Cooling technology allows the trapped heat within the subwoofer to be immediately exhausted by passing through the vent holes, giving the subwoofer a very efficient thermal management system. It also comes with high-temperature voice coils, allowing for sustained excellent bass response, even at high temperatures after extended usage.
