• No Flashing Required: The Kenwood amplifier is tuned for the best performance with a stock Harley-Davidson headunit, letting you install the amp without the need for flashing the factory radio.
• Power: The Kenwood XM160-2 amplifier can output 80W RMS (2) x 2 channels.
• Class D Design: The amplifier features a Class D design, which uses digital switching power supplies. The result is a more efficient amplifier, generating less heat than Class AB amps of equal power. The Class D design also allows the amplifier to be built on a small chassis, and installed where space is limited.
• Signal Sensing: The amplifier has a signal-sensing turn-on circuit on the speaker level input. When a signal is detected on the speaker level inputs, the amplifier will automatically power on. When the signal is no longer detected, the amp will turn off. This allows you to install the amplifier without a remote turn-on lead.
• Input Sensitivity Control: The XM160-2 features an Input Sensitivity control, letting you dial in the maximum headunit signal while keeping it below the distortion point.
• Mounting: Two amplifier mounting plates are provided for Harley-Davidson Road Glide/Road Glide Ultra and Street Glide/Street Glide Ultra. Both brackets include pre-applied hook-and-loop fastener as well as on the amplifier, letting you easily attach/detach the amp to either mounting plate. The mounting plates use factory hardware for mounting.
• Harley Davidson Integration: The Kenwood XM65F motorsports 6-1/2″ speakers are designed for installation into select 2014-up Harley-Davidson Street Glide/Street Glide Ultra, Road Glide/Road Glide Ultra, and CVO Ultra motorcycles. The XM65F speakers mount into the factory front location using the factory mounting hardware and wiring. Replacement speaker grilles are provided.
• Construction: The XM65F speakers feature a 6-1/2″ IMPP (Injection Molded Polypropylene) woofer cone and a coaxially-mounted 1″ PEI (Poly-Ether-Imide) dome tweeter.

Connections:

• Power & Ground: The amplifier features an attached 8″ power & ground input harness consisting of 10-gauge wire terminated in a Molex plug. An additional 5′ power & ground harness attaches to this and gets run to the vehicle battery. The amp’s 8″ power wire includes an inline 15A ATO fuse, and the 5′ extension includes an additional inline 15A fuse for protection at the battery. The power and ground wires are terminated in 0.32″ ring terminals.
• Speaker Level Input/Bypass: A 17″ 8-pin harness provides the input channels, with connectors that plug directly into the factory radio output wiring. A 4-pin Bypass harness is attached, letting you jumper the input signal back out to additional amplifiers (sold separately) using the provided Input Link harness.
• Speaker Output: A 21″ 4-pin output harness provides the connection to the Harley-Davidson factory front speaker wires.
