High-quality Medium-density Fiberboard

Familiar with the phrase “2-in-1”? The JL Audio CS212LG-TW1 is a perfect example of that. Two 12-inch subwoofers inside an enclosure of size for typically one 12-inch speaker, this JL Audio subwoofer packs a punch with its deep and thunderous bass production.

The enclosure is made of high-quality medium-density fiberboard, an industry-standard material; however, JL Audio uses its own V-groove technique, resulting in better assembly efficiency, making it far better sealed than other enclosures on the market. It has a black carpet finish with a JL Audio logo embroidered in the enclosure’s front baffle. It also comes with steel mesh grilles as additional protection for your subwoofer.

Professional-level Speakers

The subwoofer’s cone is made of polypropylene, which is generally used in professional-level speakers, while it also has a rubber surround that is great for longevity. It has the company’s trademark DMA-optimized motor design, which minimizes distortion, resulting in a clear bass you would love to listen to all day.

The JL Audio CS212LG-TW1 also uses the company’s patented Concentric Tube Suspension technology, primarily designed for low woofers, resulting in the excellent excursion for the subwoofer, producing an incredible bass that everyone would love to hear. It also has a cast alloy basket, which is pretty standard for high-quality subwoofers.

Total Continuous Power

This PowerWedge subwoofer has a total continuous power of 600 Watts and can go up to 1200 Watts of peak power. Its frequency response of 24 Hz up to 200 Hz and a sensitivity of 85 dB tell that it can go down to low-frequency levels and get loud without producing any distortion.
