High-Quality Medium-Density Fiberboard

JBL BassPro 12s enclosure is made of high-quality medium-density fiberboard, which is an industry-standard material known for its durability and strength. Its design comes with the unique JBL Slipstream port, giving it less noise and distortion. It also allows JBL to make small enclosures without sacrificing its bass output performance.

12″ Subwoofer with Polypropylene Cone and Hi-Roll Rubber Surround

Its 12-inch subwoofer comes with a polypropylene cone and a hi-roll rubber surround, ensuring the JBL BassPro 12 can deliver an accurate and heart-pounding bass response and still have the durability to withstand stress from long periods of use at high volume levels. Its built-in amplifier can handle a continuous power output of 150 Watts and a peak power of 450 Watts.

Variable Low-Pass Filter

The JBL BassPro 12s amplifier has a variable low-pass filter set from 40 to 200 Hz, and it has a variable bass boost of up to 12 dB at 45 Hz. Lastly, it has a phase switch from 0 to 180 degrees for a cleaner bass sound.

Bass Volume Remote Control:

  • Included remote control allows adjustment of bass volume from the drivers seat, providing convenient control without needing to stop to access the trunk.

Controls:

  • Auto Turn-On: Two position switch; on/off; when using the speaker level inputs the amplifier will turn on automatically when it senses an input signal.
  • Phase: Two position switch; 0 or 180; the sub’s phase can be easily inverted.
  • Crossover Frequency: Rotary knob; set the low pass crossover point; continuously variable from 40 Hz to 200 Hz.
  • Bass Boost: Rotary knob; continuously variable from 0 to +12 dB.
  • Gain: Rotary knob; continuously variable from 50mV-4V (line level) or 400mV-16V (speaker level).

  • Remote Bass: RJ-14 jack for use with the included remote bass level control
  • Fuse: A single 25 amp ATO style fuse protects the amplifier (spare fuse included)
  • Line Input: Stereo RCA jacks (female)
