The Focal 165AS woofer comes in woven fiberglass and a rubber surround to deliver an accurate mid-bass and midrange frequency performance while still having the punchy bass output you’d expect from a 6.5-inch speaker. Aluminum Tweeter Has an Inverted Dome Design

The Focal 165AS aluminum tweeter has an inverted dome design, ensuring that you’d get clear and bright high-frequency performance from it. So, you won’t have any problem cranking up the volume as you’d only hear minimal breakup from it. It also comes with a pair of crossover networks for appropriate frequency distribution while having a three-position tweeter level adjustment, so you can adjust the system’s high-frequency production to your liking.

Continuous Power Output

The Focal 165AS can handle a continuous power output of 60 Watts and can reach up to 120 Watts of peak power at 4 ohms. With its frequency response of 60 Hz up to 20 kHz and sensitivity rate of 92 dB, you can expect a nice full-range frequency performance from the component system while you can also crank up its audio source’s volume level, and you’ll surely hear minimal distortion only out of it.
