If you’re facing space constraints but still want to enhance your car’s audio system with impressive bass, the Diamond DMD shallow series subwoofers are an ideal solution. These subwoofers are only 3 inches deep and are designed to perform like full-size subwoofers in sealed enclosures, making them perfect for tight spaces. For optimal bass response, it’s recommended to use two DMD shallow subwoofers in a compact 1 cubic foot enclosure. This setup doubles the bass output due to the increased surface area. The subwoofers feature a true-fiber weave paper-backed parabolic cone, an NBR half-roll surround for linear travel, a protective ABS front trim piece, a die-cast frame with integrated spider venting, and a Klippel DA optimized motor and suspension symmetry, all contributing to their superior performance and extremely shallow 3-inch mounting depth.
