Data Interface with SWC and Display Retention

Feature found in car audio systems that allows the user to connect their smartphone or other device to their car stereo via a USB cable. This feature allows the user to access music, navigation, and other applications from their device directly through the car stereo. It also provides a connection for steering wheel control (SWC) and allows the car stereo to retain the display settings, such as brightness, if the user disconnects the device.
