High Performance Amplification Module

The Prima APBX 8 AS2 active subwoofer, with 8-inch driver,features a dedicated high performance amplification module which enhances all the passive box technologies, such as the 2S (2 Sides / 2 Sounds) design, the Plug & Play terminal block and ultra-compact size.

He-Li Technology

The 250W RMS amplification module features he-li technology (high efficiency / low impedance), achieving an impressive 90% efficiency without the need for a DC-DC voltage booster, closely approaching the theoretical limit of D-Class amplifiers. The innovative Dynamic Bass Tracking (DBT) technology in the input stage ensures 100% utilization of the he-li amplifier power, delivering tense and dynamic bass even at high volumes. The elimination of the voltage booster is made possible by the development of dual coil drivers with ultra-low impedance, inheriting the technological background of Prima subwoofers.
