The S-W12D4 12″ subwoofer can handle up to 600 watts RMS, providing the freedom to push it to its limits without any concerns. Its cone has been redesigned, incorporating a combination of carbon fiber and polypropylene to ensure a lightweight yet robust structure. The rubber High Amplitude Multi-Roll (HAMR) surround further enhances performance by allowing maximum excursion.
Equally Well-suited for Both Ported and Sealed Boxes
With convenient jumpers, you can effortlessly switch between 2-ohm and 8-ohm impedance to match your system’s requirements. Additionally, this versatile subwoofer is equally well-suited for both ported and sealed boxes, enabling you to enjoy deep, booming bass or tight, precise bass as per your preference. Mounting the subwoofer is a breeze, thanks to the twist-lock system, and you have the option to enhance its appearance with Alpine’s specially-designed speaker grilles (available separately).
