Alpine’s High Amplitude Multi-roll Surround

The Alpine R2-W10D4 comes with a Kevlar-treated cone giving the subwoofer the durability necessary to produce high-quality bass at loud volumes for extended periods. It also has Alpine’s High Amplitude Multi-Roll surround, which allows the cone to perform at a maximum level while having excellent thermal efficiency.

Massive Double-stacked Magnets

Its new motor structure comes with massive double-stacked magnets allowing the subwoofer to produce an extensive low-frequency response and more solid bass control. All R-Series subwoofers, including the Alpine R2-W10D4, come with dual voice coils with many configurations, making them flexible in many subwoofer applications.

Problems Performing Heart-pounding Bass

The Alpine R2-W10D4 is a subwoofer with a power output of 750 Watts RMS and 2,250 Watts peak power at 4 ohms. This 10-inch subwoofer has a sensitivity rate of 82.8 dB and a frequency response of 26 up to 200 Hz, which tells it all that this subwoofer won’t have any problems performing heart-pounding bass tracks at loud volume levels.

High Amplitude Multi-roll

The 2nd-Gen R-Series Subwoofers contain Alpine’s High Amplitude Multi-Roll (HAMR) Surround Technology. This rubber surround allows the subwoofer cone to efficiently move air while staying cool. This technology allows for 20mm of total cone excursion and motion that creates incredible accuracy from the subwoofer.
