Polypropylene Cone and Santoprene
The Kicker 48CWR152 has a steel basket with a Forced-Air Cooling design, making your subwoofer 25 percent cooler than other subwoofers. Stitched together, its polypropylene cone and Santoprene surround allow the subwoofer to produce deep bass at elevated volume levels easily. At the same time, its large spider aids the subwoofer in reducing distortion.
High-temperature Voice Coils
With the help of its high-temperature voice coils and double-stacked Ferrite magnet design, the Kicker 48CWR152 can sound very low with a wide frequency range while getting loud with minimal distortion.
Problems Producing Low Frequencies
The Kicker 48CWR152 has a power output of 800 Watts RMS and can reach up to 1600 Watts of peak power at 2 ohms. With a signal-to-noise ratio of 89.4 dB and frequency response of 25 up to 500 Hz, this 12-inch subwoofer won’t have problems producing low frequencies at loud levels.
